Library Closed for Public Health

NOTICE: Effective 1pm on Monday, March 16, the West Des Moines Public Library will be CLOSED to the public for 4 weeks in consideration of the safety of our patrons, staff and community.

Staff are working on a touch-free holds pickup process this afternoon and plan to enact that from Tuesday, March 17 through Thursday, March 19.

*Fines and due dates will be waived or extended.*

This decision was made after consultation with the Library Board and City and State officials.
