Are you a "Grown Up" but you like to read Young Adult books? Are you looking for a book club that doesn’t take itself too seriously? Then YA Not join us for YA Not Club Read!
YA Not Club Read is our non-traditional book club for "Grown ups" who like to read and talk about Young Adult books. Whether you're a teacher looking to help your students, a parent looking to discuss books with your teen readers, or just an adult that likes to read Young Adult books, you're welcome to join us! Sometimes we all read the same book, other times we read different books on the same topic, and we always talk about whatever books we're reading, movies we're watching, and whatever pop-culture topic might come up. Extra copies of each month's book will be available at the Adult Services Desk the day after the meeting, or you may bring your own.
YA Not meets 6:30-8:00pm on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Meeting locations are typically at the library but may be held at local restaurants, pubs, or coffee shops. Joining a meeting via Zoom is also an option.
LOCATION: Community Room
BOOK: Read a book you DNF'ed (did not finish) or have been reading for a long time but haven't finished for whatever reason. Share a brief review of the book, why you chose to DNF initially, then how you feel about the book now.
