“One in five children suffers from a mental health or learning disorder, and 80% of chronic mental health disorders begin in childhood,” (Journa of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, 2010). How can we help support our anxious children? This month's class will feature Jennifer Ulie-Wells, Ph.D., executive director of Please Pass the Love. Registration is required and opens August 1.

Parent Quest is a program of the WDMCS Community Education department. Classes are led by Jessica Pierce, Early Childhood Parent Educator. Each month’s class is geared toward parents of young children, birth through preschool, but information provided will be helpful for all parents. Parents can learn while their children play with Imagination Playground blue blocks. Refreshments will be provided each session.
