Hi, friends! My name is Spotty!
I love playing hide and seek. Every week, I find a new place to hide in the library and wait for all of my friends to find me! But here’s the thing. When I’m hiding, I have to be super quiet, so I can’t tell you about all the other things I love to do!
Like many dinos, I love to stomp and roar. But one of my very favorite things to do is READ, READ, READ! That’s why I decided to start this blog – a place where I can tell you about a few of my favorite books each week!
This week, I get to share some books about my dino pals! I know all sorts of dinosaurs – the Brachiosaurus, the Spinosaurus, and even the Dilophosaurus. And guess what? We have books about all of them! What are your favorite dinos? I bet we have a book to teach you about your favorite pre-historic creature too!
Well, here it goes! Five of my favorite dinosaur tales...
1. How Do Dinosaurs series by Jane Yolen
With titles like How Do Dinosaurs Learn to Be Kind, How Do Dinosaurs Show Good Manners, and How Do Dinosaurs Say I Love You, this set of picture books brings dinosaurs to life in hilarious ways – and teaches us lots of great lessons along the way!

5. How the Dinosaur Got to the Museum by Jessie Hartland

BONUS for the film lover – Dino Dan DVDs

I hope I get to see you in the library next week. Maybe you can find my new hiding spot! Or play with some dinosaur puppets!
