Everyone knows that kindness rocks, and we’re going to spread some kindness by painting kindness rocks for the library’s rock garden! Paint one (or more!) for our rock garden and one to take home. For all ages.

Teens! Take a study break and play some games with friends. We're bringing out the Nintendo Switch for an evening of gaming. Program intended for grades 6-12. No registration required.

Are you looking for a few Silver Cord, Community Service, or other volunteer hours? The Library is looking for volunteers to help with a monthly group service project. We will perform a variety of tasks.

Visit us at the WDM Library 24-Hour Kiosk in Valley Junction to celebrate it's new look! Each attendee will get free ice cream and an opportunity to learn more about the kiosk. Our Words on Wheels book truck will also be in attendance.

Get ready for a magical night of stories at Amphitheater Readers! West Des Moines Parks and Recreation has teamed up with the West Des Moines Public Library to bring the Words on Wheels vehicle to the Jamie Hurd Amphitheater.
