Starting Block Class: Des Moines Writers' Workshop

The Starting Block Class is an opportunity for writers of all levels to plan a novel. The day long class will include in-depth character profiles, basic plot structure/beat sheets, where to start your novel, and the challenges of writing the middle of your novel. Most of the work is done in the class with time to workshop your ideas and receive feedback.
