Scottish Heritage Society Book Club

Purpose of Meeting

The Scottish Heritage Society of Iowa is starting a Scottish Book Club. We will read books written by Scottish authors, books about Scotland or books set in Scotland. We will start by discussing a non-fiction work - " How the Scots invented the Modern World" and then read a fiction book for the next meeting, written by a Scottish author. The club is open to all Scottish Heritage club members and anyone else who is interested in reading literary works pertaining to Scotland. Club members will be encouraged to suggest titles for the club to read and discuss.
