Purpose of Meeting

Activate and engage yourself and others to be a voice for kids! Save the Children Action Network is the political voice for kids, advocating for investments in high-quality early childhood education and care for every child in the US, and for maternal, newborn health for mothers and children around the world. At our April meeting we will discuss the importance of Early Head Start, a federal program that helps young children, birth to 3, and their families prepare to start school ready to succeed. We’ll learn about the history of this important program, and learn how we can advocate for fully funding this program so that future generations can break the cycle of poverty through school readiness. This event is free and open to the public. Hope to see you there!
