Come and celebrate your reading with our family-friendly Summer Reading Finale! This year’s finale celebrates all things comics, graphic novels, and heroes of all kinds.

Teens! Spend time in the air conditioning with friends. We're bringing out the Nintendo Switch for free-play on Mondays during June and July. Enjoy a selection of games, and space to relax! No registration required.

The WDM Library is excited to be an exhibitor at the Valley Junction Farmers Market. Stop by our booth between 4:00 - 8:00 PM to get a balloon animal, learn about upcoming library programs, and even get a library card. 

When you finish the summer reading goal of 30 days of reading, you will receive a general admission ticket to the Iowa Cubs game on Thursday, August 1 at 6:38pm.  Bring your reading logs to the library before Aug.

Interested in learning about life as an artist? Join us in the Community Room to chat with Ethan Edvenson, an emerging fine artist living in Des Moines, Iowa who creates mixed media drawings, digital collages, and videos.

Interested in starting a journal, planner, or sketchbook? Join us in the Community Room and receive a blank notebook to decorate!
