Cinematheque Free Movie Night

Purpose of Meeting

Des Moines Film Collective Cinematheque will be hosting a free screening of "National Velvet." However, film is subject to change based on availability. This event is for all ages so the film will be rated G or PG. The Community Room, where the screening will take place, only holds 70, so be sure to arrive in time to guarantee a seat. Cinematheque is the Des Moines Chapter of Turner Classic Movies' Fan Club. The chapter consists of film fans of the Des Moines Area that get together and celebrate everything that is cinema. Past gatherings have included trips to the John Wayne Birthplace Museum and the Bridges of Madison County, Movie Trivia Night, and free tickets every month to the TCM Big Screen Classic.
