Winter Reading 2025 begins!

Ready, set, READ! We encourage readers of all ages to challenge themselves to become reading machines this winter. From January 1-31, West Des Moines Library is participating in “Be a Reading Machine,” a reading challenge sponsored by Beanstack and Baker & Taylor. We challenge our community to read and log at least 10 days during the challenge. For logging your days read, you will earn fun, new badges. At the end of the challenge, all finishers will be entered into a drawing for a gift certificate for businesses in the Valley Junction area.
