Celebrate the culmination of the 2018-2019 WDMCS Reads project with a visit from author Laurie Halse Anderson!

Laurie Halse Anderson is the New York Times-bestselling author who writes for kids of all ages. Known for tackling tough subjects with humor and sensitivity, her work has earned numerous international, national, and state awards.

7 p.m. - speech/Q&A

Speak and the author's latest book, Shout, focus on the difficult issue of sexual assault. The recommended minimum age to attend is 13. Parents/guardians are encouraged to attend with their students.
