Teen Book Club and Writing Group: VILLAINS

COME TEEN READERS! For the month of November we'll be reading books about VILLAINS! Supervillains? Sure. Serial killers or school bullies? Definitely villains. Bring a book with an antagonist you love to hate! This is a book of your choice--one you've read lately, an old favorite, whichever one you choose! Come share what you're reading with the group and what you liked about the book. (There will be prompts available, so don't worry about being put on the spot!) We'll also discuss some of the great villains in literature, so you'll leave with lots of great recommendations!

All this fun book talk with be for the first half hour. For the second half hour, we'll talk about writing our own stuff! Each month we will talk about new writing principles like plot and character arc and dialog and the publishing process, as well as a Q&A and writing prompts. Come meet up with fellow teens who are as interested in writing as you are, and learn how to hone your craft! 

Oh, and there will also be snacks.
