Event Details

While many of us cringe at the thought of self-driving cars, the reality of robots is upon us. From applications in agriculture and manufacturing to health care, military and public safety, robots are used in many industries and the applications aren’t slowing down. There is no question the next generation will be a big part of the ongoing growth of robotics!  

Ready Set Robot is an enrichment experience for youth age seven and up to freely explore and learn about robotics. At this fun, hands-on workshop, students receive a brief overview of robotics and then spend time working in small groups to program age-appropriate robots in a safe and supportive environment. 

No prior experience is needed but familiarity with a computer keyboard and mouse is helpful for programming most of the robots. Parents, we encourage you to enjoy this learning experience with younger students.
