West Des Moines Public Library staff will present on developing pre-reading skills and how parents can help with this process. Curriculum from The American Library Association called Every Child Ready to Read will be used. 

Registration is required and opens February 4.

Parent Quest is a program of the WDMCS Community Education department. Classes are led by Jessica Pierce, Early Childhood Parent Educator. Each month’s class is geared toward parents of young children, birth through preschool, but information provided will be helpful for all parents. Parents can learn while their children play with Imagination Playground blue blocks. Refreshments will be provided each session.
