Join us for a fun afternoon of learning about veterinary medicine with Dr. Jen from Family Pet Veterinary Centers! Hear about what a vet does and see both live animals and some preserved specimens. For ages 4-12, registration required.

Did you know? Laurie Halse Anderson, author of the Vet Volunteers series, is coming to town on April 24! Come hear from a real vet, then read one of her books and see the author. Ms. Anderson is visiting as part of the 2018-2019 West Des Moines Community Reads project, sponsored by the West Des Moines Community School District, the West Des Moines Library, and West Des Moines Rotary Club.
