Library Book Sale

Please note that the start time on Tuesday, April 15 is 1:00 PM! 

Big things are happening behind the scenes here at the library! Our team has been working hard to refresh our Book Sale process so we can start accepting donations again later this year. But before we can welcome new books, we need to clear out some space — and that means it’s time for a bigger-than-normal Book Sale!

When & Where?

Starting Tuesday, April 15 at 1:00 PM, we’re launching a special pop-up Book Sale throughout the first floor of the library. It will continue until our current inventory runs out during regular open library hours.

The WDM Public Library is open from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM on Mondays - Thursdays. It is open from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM on Fridays.

What’s the Deal?

Fill up one of our purple or green “I Heart Books” bags with as many books as you can for just $5 — bag included! It’s the best deal around, and it helps support the library while clearing out space for future donations.

Prefer just an item or two? They can still be purchased at our regular Book Sale prices.

What all will be sold?

Books (Adult, Teen, Kids), DVDs, CDs, Magazines, Puzzles, and other miscellaneous items. If you can fit them into your bag, it goes towards your $5!

Want to Support the Library Even More?

If you’re checking out with a bag full of books and feel inspired to give a little extra, you’re welcome to round up your total or make an additional donation to the Friends Foundation. Every dollar goes right back into supporting the library’s programs and services!

When Can I Donate Books Again?

We’re just as excited to accept your gently-used treasures as you are to share them. We’re aiming to start accepting donations again on July 1 - stay tuned for updates!
