Brave Adventurers Needed!

Have you heard of Dungeons & Dragons but don’t know how to play? Are you curious about playing but not sure where to begin? Thinking of running your own game but doubting yourself?

Join us for three sessions that will introduce you to the social, exciting and imaginative experience of D&D. You’ll get familiar with the basics of the game (Fifth Edition), as well as the endless possibilities of how the game can be played. Attendees will not only learn the basic rules, but also how to create a character – and then play through a game. Content will also be offered to help new Dungeon Masters get started running their own games.

The first session (2-10) will be held in the ground-floor Community Room, the second (2-17) in the upstairs Southwoods Room and the final session (2-24) in the upstairs Millie Knee Room with breakout sessions each week using other rooms in the Library as needed.

These programs are presented by John Danos (who has been running D&D games for many years) and a merry band of heroes (who play together weekly).

This is a three-part program for patrons aged 15 and up. You must have been registered for the first session on 2/10/2024 to attend this session.
