Pointed Pen Calligraphy

Tome Hope started studying calligraphy over 20 years ago at the University of Iowa. She started her calligraphy business, Ink & Oak, in 2013, and has been a teaching artist at the Des Moines Art Center since 2017. She is a member of the Chicago Calligraphy Collective and Letter Arts Alliance of the Midwest. She loves all things letters.

In this class you will learn the basics of pointed-pen calligraphy. We'll start with a traditional style that you can use to develop your own modern style. Pen, ink, and handouts are yours to take home.
