Welcome to the Academy of Fandom! We will have one session per week over six weeks on a wide variety of topics. Tonight’s topic is Dune. What makes this world so interesting that there have been multiple movie versions and now TV series? Are the books better than the TV series (or vice versa)?

We welcome participants to learn about this topic, have fun, and hang out with like-minded people! The presentation will be 30-40 minutes, with plenty of time afterwards for Q&A and discussion.

These programs are for patrons 18 and older. Registration is requested, please. Sessions will be limited to 16 participants due to space. Attendees will receive a special pin-back button at each session and attendees who complete all six sessions will receive an Academy of Fandom Class of 2025 t-shirt!
