Do you have prescription medication in your home and worry about keeping it safe from children or guests in your home? Did you know that prescription drug abuse causes the largest percentage of deaths from drug overdosing? Come learn about how to keep your prescription medication safe. Generation RX is an educational program originally created by Ohio State University that is designed to address general medication safety and safe medication practices. The program is given nationwide by prevention professionals to a variety of audiences. There are three main learning topics within the program – be your own health advocate, be safe with your medicines, and know the risks of medication misuse. The program contains many facts, statistics, and useful tips for medication safety, and is appropriate for adults of all ages.

This program is presented by Maddy Lemons, Prevention Specialist, Employee and Family Resources.
