Classes are at the West Des Moines Public Library on the first Friday of each month, January-May. Classes will start at 11 a.m. with discussion time ending at noon. Registration is required. Target audience will be parents of young children, birth through preschool, but information provided will be helpful for all parents. Children are welcome to come and play during the class!

This month's topic is Judgement.

Do you feel judged as a parent? Do you feel that your parenting techniques and the way you interact with your child(ren) are under a microscope? Research shows that 90 percent of moms and 85 percent of dads feel judged as parents. In this class, we will talk about the judgment we feel as parents and learn techniques for being confident in our parenting and dealing with this judgment. Class taught by Jessica Pierce, Early Childhood Parent Educator for WDMCS Community Education.
