Event Details

From the State of Iowa Information Security Office, training on the basics of cyber security awareness.  

The training covers the basics of cyber security awareness for the individual. Topics covered include:

·         Social engineering\phishing

·         Email and Internet use

·         Protecting computers & mobile devices

·         Disposal of information

The training is geared towards home users but small businesses may find the information helpful too.

Alison Radl is an Information Security Officer with the State of Iowa OCIO – Information Security Office Division. Alison coordinates information security policy development, training, risk assessment and compliance for the state. Alison received her Master of Science in Information Assurance from Iowa State University.
