Notary Service Suspended for May

Due to staffing changes, Notary service will not be available at the Library for the month of May, 2024.

West Des Moines City Hall offers free Notary services – please contact them ahead of time to arrange an appointment.

You can also search for Notaries in your area through the State’s Notary Search tool.

Community Puzzle and Exchange

Community Puzzle

On the second floor of the library, overlooking the pond, you will find two tables dedicated to working on a community puzzle! Each patron can spend as much time as they’d like on the puzzle—all that we ask is for you to put away finished puzzles and set out a new one for the community to work on.

Puzzle Exchange

In addition to our community puzzle, we also offer a puzzle exchange cart. Bring in your gently used puzzle (with all of the pieces, please!) and swap it with one on the cart. You do not need to check out these puzzles from the library.
